Rafael Guerra Traditional Painter Brazil Olinda Rafael Guerra, Traditional Painter, in his atelier in Brazil

Rafael Guerra was born in Brazil, where he grew up exploring an affinity for art from a young age. He majored in Biology before moving to Italy to study Traditional Drawing and Painting at The Florence Academy of Art, where he received a special scholarship to work alongside its Director, and also taught for a few years before moving to Finland. He has also taught in Spain and Brazil, and offers online courses on Traditional Painting. He now works from his private studio in Espoo. His passion for nature and for traditional painting methods have a great influence on his work.
