Gazania | Nature-Inspired Earrings

• The design was created with an image-tracing program written by the designer. The pattern was generated from photographs of nature–in this case, a gazania bloom–and digitally fabricated with a laser cutter.

A new “generation” of scientist, engineer, and designer.

I’ve developed a vector-generating program to transform images of nature into jewelry designs. The designs are produced utilizing a variety of digital fabrication methods including laser cutting, 3D printing, and water-jetting. The program is constantly being developed with new data. I’m looking forward to integrating AI technology with 3D design.
