Born 1985 in Leningrad (nowadays Saint Petersburg), Russia. Moved to Finland in 2009 in a search of equality. Stayed for love.
Attended art school during her school years. Has three master degrees, but unfortunately none of them in Arts.
Preferred means of expression – sculpture. Favourite topics include mental health issues and struggles.
In her free time Maria organizes and facilitates depression support group meetings and volunteers at the zoo.
Among Maria’s hobbies are reading and jewellery making.
Currently resides in Espoo with her husband, dog and two guinea pigs.
