A digital print of an illustrated metaphore for cultural appropriation. The tigers represent the minority and their stripes their identity and culture. The raccoons, representing the majority, admire tiger’s appearance and are taking their stripes by force without understanding their deeper meaning to the tigers. They also try to mimick tigers’ appearance by doing tiger masks which they sell to other raccoons. The frame in the second picture isn’t included but it can be bought from here.
