This pixel piece grew out of a few things I care about a lot.

Finnish lakes I love deeply. Nordic landscapes from nature and videogames like Valheim. And my love for hiking, which started back in childhood thanks to my parents.

What I like about this scene is that such a landscape could exist the same way today, a thousand years ago, or a thousand years in the future (I hope with all my heart). Time goes on, but the calm and beauty of nature – and the joy of simple life – will always stay with those who find peace and inspiration in it.
