This acrylic painting on canvas was inspired by the beautiful Art Nouveau building in Kallio. It is called Ihantola, which can be translated as “Wonderful place”. It was built in 1907 and was originally yellow but now it has a gorgeous pink color. I have added flowers and plants to the painting as a gentle pink color reminds of spring.

The painting is made with acrylic paint on canvas 28×35 cm, with the additions of glitter and metallic paint.
