The black spots on the piece are formed by trapping the carbon released during the firing process.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the artist:\u00a0<\/strong>Alex\u2019s sculptures are born through a material driven process using found or recycled materials. He is currently studying art education at Aalto University and works and runs ceramics courses at MiSo Ceramics in Kallio.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><b>Original Artwork (One
