The color comes from the original color of the paper materials or mixing ground materials into the pulp (ex. milled bark to create brown). On top lays collage cut-outs, small objects, discarded photographs, and textual excerpts forming poetic \u201cautomatic writing\u201d for imagining our futures (ex. \u201cFire was a worldmaking\u201d, \u201cdo you feel, we feel\u201d, \u201cstruggle, make worlds, life possible\u201d).<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This work features text from a Calvin &amp; Hobbes comic strip, &#8220;I&#8217;m so smart, it&#8217;s almost scary.
