Commission an Oil Painting of Your Pet!
Rafael Guerra is a classically trained painter, producing nature and animal-themed works with realism.

Are you, like the artist himself, crazy in love with your cute pet? Oil Portraits are a traditional way of immortalising loved ones, and what better way to keep with you the memory of these special family members? You can commission an oil portrait of your pet, or gift one to a friend, and decorate your environment with a beautiful painting that’s sure to catch everyone’s eye.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The usual time for delivery is 3-5 weeks for 1 portrait.

The Commission Process: 
1. Choose 1-3 photos of your pet you wish to have painted. (One image will be chosen for the portrait)

2. Choose the size and surface you wish. (This is the 35X27cm Panel)

3. You may complete the purchase here through FunDesign, or contact the artist directly by email, where you will receive information about payment methods. In either case, you will need to contact the artist by email and send the images you selected. They will be assessed by the artist, and together you will choose one image for the painting. (Note: The artist reserves the right to reject the images sent by the client. A good image is one where the pet is in clear view, with good illumination, and not blurred or cut awkwardly. If the image(s) selected are simply not good enough as a reference, an adequate one must be provided. If the artist and buyer can not reach an agreement about the image, the commission may be cancelled.)

(Note: In case you complete the purchase through FD, the payment will be done in full at the moment of purchase. If you purchase directly from the artist, at least half of the amount will be required to confirm the transaction. In that case, the rest of the amount will be paid upon pick up of the finished work. If you wish for the work to be delivered by mail, only upon payment of the full amount will the work be shipped.)

4. Once the image has been selected and the payment has been done, the artist will maintain contact with you with updates about the painting, until it is finished and ready to be picked up/delivered.

5. Once the painting is finished and varnished, the artist and client will agree on a pickup/shipment situation. Please be advised that the usual time for delivery is 3-5 weeks. Local Pickup at Olari, Espoo.
