“I’m such a sleepyhead. At least that’s what I tell my co-workers and friends. They always say how hard it was to wake up in the morning, and I always agree, because it sounds normal. They tell how they just wanted to stay in their warm beds, under the sheets, swaddled like a big toasty cinnamon bun. I don’t know what a cinnamon bun is. But I conform and like them, every weekday morning I set my alarm to go off at 7:30 and I get up, like any normal human being.”

made during one of my university courses at aalto, this five-colour A5 risograph print was originally made for a collaborative book project. my part of the book tells a short story of “a totally normal human being”, who just wants to do “totally normal human stuff”. for this project, three different kinds of riso prints have been made at the printmaking workshop at aalto university and are available for sale. this print is 1/3 of the collection.

please note that all risograph prints are unique and may have slight difference in colour, slight misalignment of artwork or small marks due to nature of the printing. because of this, the text may be hard to read.
