Getting Started

Who can sell on FunDesign?

Currently, we only accept artists based in Finland, whether you are a student, an artist, a designer, or a hobbyist. We warmly welcome everyone with creativity and imagination.

What can I sell?

Artmu is a marketplace for original art and design. You can sell your drawings, paintings, prints, jewelry, digital designs, etc., or offer customized products or services. All works must be originally designed by you. Reselling or copying other people’s works is not allowed. AI-generated art is NOT permitted.

How can I become a seller on FunDesign?

You can apply for joining FunDesign through HERE.

Does it cost money to become a seller?

There is no monthly fee or registration fee, so it is completely free of charge until you make a sale! After making a sale, we will deduct a small commission fee and a transaction fee from the sale. Please check out the fees at Artist Application page.

How should I price my works?

– Research the prices of similar artworks by artists with a similar level of experience and recognition.

– Reputation and demand – Consider your reputation as an artist and the demand for your work. If you have a strong following or high demand, you may be able to command higher prices.

– Add expenses – calculate the costs involved in creating your artwork, including materials, studio rent, utilities, commission fees and your time spent. Ensure that your price covers these expenses.

– Test different prices – Experiment with different price points to see what works best for your market and audience. Don’t be afraid to adjust your prices over time based on feedback and sales data.

How should I set the shipping fee?

How to get my works featured by FunDesign?

We feature our artists and their artworks regularly in our home page, newsletter and social media. To get featured, make sure you have fulfilled these basic requirements:

– New works within 3 months.
– Over 5 works on your page.
– You have 2-5 high quality images and detailed description.
– Shipping method has been correctly set. (Conduct a self-check by adding your product to the cart)
– Profile picture, banner, biography have been well done.

How to get sales?

– Image & description – make sure the images are clear and you provide at least 2-3 images. Write detailed descriptions.
– Build your brand & story – your store profile and biography is an important way for customers to get to know who you are. Share your stories and make your brand distinguishing!
– Promotion – share your store with your friends, families and on your social media.
– Reviews – provide your best service and make sure your customers give you 5-star reviews!

How should I ship my orders?

You can choose the shipping methods in your Settings:

– Send the parcel by delivery services. For example, you can pay for the parcel on Posti’s website or Matkahuolto’s website and bring it to your closet drop-off point.

– Customers pick them up from you. We suggest you to set your address to a public space like your university or studio to avoid revealing your home address.

How will I get paid?

You can request a withdraw at your Dashboard. Once your withdrawal request has been approved, you will be required to issue an invoice for the withdrawn amount. Please note that all withdrawals are processed ONLY upon receipt of a valid invoice.
