Fun Design Market (Spring) – We Went Big!
On March 8, 2025, we hosted our third market, and it was a true testament to our growth. The space at Redi Shopping Mall was over 2.5 times larger than for our previous event, allowing us to welcome nearly twice as many creatives. From illustration and handmade cookies to clothing and terrarium making, the market showcased a diverse mix of both seasoned artists and first-time vendors. And the turnout went through the roof!
The program of the event is here.

Changes from the last market
This event was a huge step forward for us in so many ways—more artists, more workshops, a bigger space. But beyond that, we introduced some exciting new things:
- We hosted a “Market Preparation” workshop, sharing tips to help artists feel more confident and ready for the event.
- The day before the market, we spent hours setting up and decorating the space so that when artists arrived, everything was good to go.
- We made things easier for our vendors by keeping in touch via email and Telegram group chat, giving them extra time to set up, and preparing a welcome package with all the key info they’d need.

- The Café Zone was a hit! With three vendors selling artistic sweets, it became a cozy little oasis for people to take a break while exploring the market.
- We introduced a Selfie Zone—a fun spot for artists and visitors to snap some great photos.
- Workshops had their own designated area and schedule, making them easier to find and enjoy.
- We set up an Info Desk, where visitors could get event details, check out the map, vote for the Best Table, take part in our new Women’s Day Quiz, and even grab some candy!

Of course, we kept our signature traditions: free beverages for our creatives, the “Best Table” competition (sponsored by Tempera), and a big marketing push to spread the word.
What is next?
Even before the event started, people were already asking, “When’s the next one?” And right after the market, those requests only grew louder. So one thing’s for sure—we’re definitely coming back!

Our goal has always been to create a true community of artists—open, supportive, and fun. We also want to keep our markets accessible, especially for young and emerging artists. It’s always amazing to hear that our market was someone’s first-ever event, and we’re so happy to be part of that journey!
But we’re not stopping here. We’re already exploring new ideas—taking FDM to different cities, expanding to a two-day event, and bringing even more fun to the lineup with new activities, brand collaborations, and more.
And of course, we’re listening to your feedback and working to improve every detail for the next one.
Make sure to follow us so you’ll be the first to hear about what’s next!

Thank you!
Once again, our team wants to thank every single one of you—artists, visitors, and partners—who played a part in making this event happen. Your support leading up to the market, the excitement and smiles we saw during, and the kind words afterward remind us that we’re on the right path—and that we can keep pushing to make it even better!
With gratitude,
The FDM Team
