"Emmy June, known as the Queen of Finnish Nordicana, is a Helsinki-based singer-songwriter whose music blends Nordic storytelling with Americana and soul-tinged folk. A self-taught musician, Emmy discovered her passion for songwriting while living in Gothenburg in 2015. With a background in art and fashion, she left her day job to pursue music full-time, developing a sound that combines 1960s singer-songwriter tradition with alternative pop-rock. Emmy June’s music is like a summer road trip, winding through dimly lit clubs, chasing sunsets, and breaking free from the past.
